Andrea Fenster

Andrea joined LAJC’s Civil Rights and Racial Justice Program in February 2025. Prior to joining LAJC, Andrea was a Prisoners’ Rights Dunn Legal Fellow at the ACLU of Virginia, where she litigated on behalf of incarcerated Virginians. Prior to her work in Virginia, Andrea was a Staff Attorney at the Prison Policy Initiative where she worked on the campaigns to end prison gerrymandering and to lower the cost of calling home from prisons and jails. Andrea received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and her B.A. in Law & Society from American University. Andrea is a member of the District of Columbia Bar.
