RRHA was created to help address the acute shortage of decent, affordable, and safe dwellings for low-income families in the Richmond area. For those most struggling to survive as Richmond becomes ever more expensive, RRHA is often the last option before becoming unhoused.

RRHA is not a traditional landlord and should not act like one. They provide a service, paid for by taxpayers, to support our community and ensure as many people as possible have a home they can afford.
