Michaela Ross

Michaela Ross is a Senior Attorney on the Housing & Consumer Justice team in the Richmond, VA office of the Legal Aid Justice Center. Prior to joining LAJC she was a Pro Bono Fellow with Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP and Central Virginia Legal Aid Society. In that work, she represented tenants in eviction cases and in affirmative cases against their landlords. She also represented clients in family law matters. Prior to starting that role, Michaela served as a summer law clerk at Legal Aid Justice Center in Northern Virginia, where she supported immigrants’ rights through federal litigation, visa applications, and advising on civil legal matters. Michaela also worked as a law clerk at the National Housing Law Project in San Francisco, California and the East Bay Community Law Center in Berkeley, California. Prior to law school, Michaela spent five years working in politics, public policy, nonprofit consulting, and case management. Michaela received her J.D. from Stanford Law School and her A.B. from Harvard University.
