Emily C. Dreyfus

Emily joined LAJC over 20 years ago, bringing experience with non-profit administration and running successful community organizing campaigns. She began her career as a community organizer with a national non-profit organization and later became a housing organizer for a statewide group in Massachusetts. Emily’s work with LAJC has contributed to leadership development among often under-represented people, and resulted in meaningful systemic changes, including expanding deeply affordable housing, improving quality of life for lower-income people and increasing public support to address displacement and ethnocide in Charlottesville’s Black neighborhoods.
