Our annual reports memorialize the stories, accomplishments and highlights from each of our program areas and the advocates who staff them, as well as details of our financial information, and acknowledgment of our generous donors, without whom we could not achieve all that we do. (PDFs)
Our newsletter, "The Voice," gives our supporters and friends periodic updates on our work at the Legal Aid Justice Center, and offers a closer portrait of our staff, programs and campaigns. (PDFs)
When it comes to legal advice, everyone's situation is different and most rules have exceptions.
The information we provide here is intended only for general informational purposes. It may not apply to your individual situation. Therefore, if you are concerned about your legal rights, you should discuss your particular situation with a lawyer.
If you need legal advice, and cannot afford to pay, please contact us or the Legal Services Corporation's Virginia page if you are ouside our area. For public forms and additional information on a variety of civil legal topics, please see VALegalAid.org.
The attorneys and other advocates at the Legal Aid Justice Center have formed partnerships and working relationships with a wide variety of organizations. In addition, our work has shown us that there are many other organizations working on the issues affecting our clients. You can link to those groups through the following pages:
CIVIL ADVOCACY LINKS (organizations with information about consumer, employment, housing, mental health, and public benefits law)
IMMIGRANT ADVOCACY LINKS (organizations that work with low-wage immigrants throughout Virginia and nationally)
JUSTCHILDREN LINKS ( JustChildren publications and organizations that provide information about and/or advocate for children with regard to educational and juvenile justice issues)
