ADVISORY COUNCILS

Legal Aid Justice Center receives support, guidance and perspective from a distinguished group of citizens in Charlottesville, including past Legal Aid lawyers and local civic leaders who help us with fundraising and planning. We also have formed ad hoc committees to assist with major efforts in our growth as an organization.  These have included our Capital Campaign Committee, which supported the successful purchase and renovation of our Charlottesville office.  We will be forming an advisory council in Northern Virginia in 2008.

The Charles B. Holt “Rock House” Steering Committee

This dedicated group helped to renovate the building and grounds at the Rock House and Garden, and to install an historic walkway.  The Rock House now serves as the headquarters for the Hunton & Williams/UVA Pro Bono Partnership.
